Make Your Own Show!!!!

Proposal Guidelines Program Pilot episodes are previewed by the 31 Programming Committee to determine eligibility for broadcast on Community Television. The process may take up to six weeks.

A typical program season on 31 runs for thirteen (13) weeks. 31 will also consider one-off specials that may run from half an hour (30 minutes) up to an hour and a half (90 minutes).

Program Sponsorship and Sponsors Messages are the main source of funding for programs broadcast on Community Television in Australia. 31 sells airtime to organisations and individuals that are seeking broadcast of their program or concept. 31 receives hundreds of proposals every year but only a small percentage make it to broadcast. 31 is working closely with Program Providers to secure sponsorship and to increase the percentage of proposals that successfully make it to broadcast.

Securing Sponsorship is the most challenging part of producing a program for broadcast on Community Television. 31 has developed a Marketing Template for presentation to potential sponsors. Before presenting your marketing document to potential sponsors a meeting with the 31 Program Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager must be arranged.
